Nanotubes

Nanotubes are a single atom thick tubular structure formed by graphene. They can be rolled at different angles, and each angle represents a different nanotube property, such as a metal or a semiconductor material.  They could have many applications when added to other materials, which could be from gloves to automobiles to airplanes.

Nanotubes are extremely strong and have a future as a next generation material for a number of applications. They currently have been know to have a length to diameter ration of more than 132k to 1, which is better than any other known material.
